My husband Alan and I stayed at Marina's bed and breakfast for ten days from the 21st of May 2011.  We found the accommodation clean and comfortable. The B&B is situated in a lovely old building. To enter you walk through a garden courtyard and up a short flight of steps. Our room had a double bed, a wardrobe and plenty of drawers for putting clothes away. There was a flat screen TV, DVD player, radio, clocks, reading lights, a wall safe, air conditioning and overhead fans. The on-suit was spotless and included a bidet and a hair dryer. As well as that Marina provided shampoos, soaps, etc.

In addition to the room, we were able to have juice, coffee and a Danish or croissant at the Angel Cafe just around the coffee. However, most mornings we just made coffee in the kitchen and prepared a breakfast of cereal and yoghurt. We could use all kitchen facilities.
The B&B is conveniently located, just a short walk from the Vatican and close to public transport. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. What we enjoyed most was the feeling of 'while in Rome, doing what the Romans do' instead of being in a large impersonal hotel. We shopped for food at the local markets and often prepared a light evening meal. We found Marina to be honest, warm, friendly and an excellent host without being overbearing or intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed her company and our stay at her B&B and have no hesitation in recommending her to future guests.

2. There was so much we liked about BNBChic! The lovely house where you arrive through a gate and a beautiful courtyard with little fountain: in the centre of Rome and still in a green and quiet surrounding. The location: 10 minutes on foot from the Vatican Museum and - a little further - Saint Peter Square. The nice and cool room with large bed and comfortable bathroom. All kinds of public transport around the corner. But also the old Spar-supermarket, a good pizzabar, the Mercato Trionfale (delicious cheese, italian sausages, vegetables!) and the nice little restaurants (like Sistorante!) within reach. But most of all: the sociability and hospitality of Marina. We had nice italian dinners together (but only if you feel like it!) and good Roman caffè for breakfast. Gossiping in a mix of dutch, english and italian. All the information you need about Rome at hand, and of course: the professional guiding through the Vatican Museum! Grazie Marina, and ciao ciao!
